Kyrgyzstanwere 3-1 winners in Bangladesh and only lost 2-1 at home to Australia while they held their Jordanian hosts to a goalless draw and shocked them 1-0 in the return match, all in World Cup qualifiers.
Oman lost 4-1 to China in a friendly in Australia before losing 4-0 to the Australian hosts in the Asian cup. They also lost 4-1 to Algeria and 1-0 to New Zealand in friendly matches at home and could only draw 0-0 in Guam before losing 2-1 away to Turkmenistan in World Cup qualifiers.
Guatemalastruggled to get though the early stages of the World Cup qualifiers with a goalless draw at home to Bermuda and a 1-0 defeat at Antigua & Barbuda while in the Gold Cup they lost 3-1 to Trinidad & Tobago and 1-0 to Cuba in America.
Armenialost their home matches 3-2 to Portugal and 3-0 to Albania in Euro qualifiers.
Liechtenstein were battered 5-0 and 7-0 at home to Austria and Russia respectively.
The biggest shock of the year was US Virgin Island's 1-0 win in Barbados followed by Bhutan's unbelievable 1-0 win in Sri Lanka. Also in World Cup qualifiers, American Samoa amazingly defeated Cook Islands 2-0 and Tonga 2-1, both in Tonga.
The highest score of the year was Qatar's 15-0 battering of Bhutan.
* Due to an administrative error, Guatemala ended the year 13 places lower than their actual position. This will gradually correct itself in 2016.
